India is making a historic stride in its academic sector with the introduction of the One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) initiative, set to commence on January 1, 2025. This groundbreaking program aims to grant free access to almost 13,000 international academic journals to around 18 million students, faculty, and researchers across over 6,300 government-run higher education and research institutions.
